Brooks Field was where cadets learned to fly the military's first trainer aircraft, the Curtiss JN-4 'Jenny' biplane. The sculpture recalls this historical significance — an abstract of the Jenny in flight, with contrails that support the biplane's wings. Finished sculpture: 32 ft wide × 20 ft tall × 50 ft long, stainless steel, perfectly balanced on its contrail, seemingly defying gravity.

Signed, numbered, and blind embossed by James Hetherington. Certificate of Authenticity included.
