Texas Blackland Prairie Grass (7 pieces)
The bluestem grew eight feet tall—sometimes even more. To me, it was an impenetrable wall. I also remember playing in the panic grass when it reached three feet in height. Back then, walking on the gravel road meant we would always have spear grass fights.
